How Psychic Are You?

A question that is often asked of me is “Can anyone be a psychic or a medium”? The answer is yes to a degree. Many people can sing (at least in the shower they do) but not everyone sings like Celine Dion or some of the other great singers of our time. The same is true with other natural born talents. Being Psychic, or intuitive can be developed by some, but some of you have more natural born talent than others. Many of you have heard the term “Chakra” but not many people know what the term Chakra is. Pronounced (Shock-ra) Chakras are energy centers within the body. There are seven main Chakras and they act somewhat like psychic organs that produce and distribute energies throughout your being. In most people the Chakras are not active hence the lack of people who are aware of their intuitive and psychic sides. The Human Energy Field or Aura is an energetic, multi-dimensional field that surrounds penetrates, and is the human body. When these Chakras are not blocked and fully balanced, the more balanced and grounded life you will have. Psychic abilities that are associated with the Chakras are roughly as follows. The awakening of the lower three chakras are associated with what they call "psychism", which is considered to be a relatively crude exercise of psychic abilities. This includes mediumship, the ability to dream (dreaming being considered as a crude form of astral projection), and the occurrence of sporadic psychic abilities such as the type studied by parapsychologists (isolated cases of telepathy or precognition, for example). The awakening of the four higher Chakras produce what are generally regarded as "legitimate" psychic abilities, involving the conscious use and control of these abilities. The awakening of the heart Chakra produces enhanced empathic abilities and the ability to heal. The throat Chakra leads to clairaudience, which is the ability to hear on the nonphysical planes. The awakening of the third-eye Chakra leads to clairvoyance or the ability to see on the nonphysical planes. And the awakening of the Crown center is associated both with the ability to consciously travel on the nonphysical planes and with the process of enlightenment. To spiritually evolve you only need to bring more Light into your being and this is generally done through your Seventh Chakra, otherwise known as your “Crown” Chakra. When the Crown is awakened and opened, this energy station connects us to the source of life, God and opens our way to becoming the bearer of light to the world around us. A Crown cannot be blocked. It is either open, opening, or closed. The easiest way that you can tell if your Crown is closed is if you have a lack of Faith. People that don’t have hope or feel as if they have to do this thing called “Life” alone usually do not connect to a higher source. Sometimes it is not their fault. Sometimes, it is the teachings of their upbringing. The Soul always knows how to find its way Home. Home is where enlightenment dwells. Awakening the Crown is the natural result in balancing your other six energy centers. Sometimes it opens spontaneously when we are in a crisis. Have you ever heard someone yell out Gods name when something really terrible happens in their life? Well this deep desire to call upon God (or unconditional love) is our spiritual birth connection to our soul. When we get closer to the Source, God, or all That is, the opening of the Crown is a natural by-product of this process. We are no longer the outsider looking in. We begin to believe in things in which the eyes cannot see. Faith becomes a big part of the equation. Without hope, there is only Fear. Fear stands for "False Expectations Appearing Real” and Ego stands for “Edging God Out”. Fear comes from the Ego mind, not from our hearts. When we truly live in sync and have all of the dots connected, only then can we realize true happiness. Not happiness that can only be fulfilled by earthly items or material things. Instead, pure happiness that comes from the inside out. Making decisions from your heart Chakra and not from your head or logic, will allow you to live your ultimate"Truth".
