I hope you all enjoyed watching The Haunting of Charles Shaughnessy who starred in the TV sitcom, "The Nanny" and on the popular soap opera "Days of our Lives". When I found out Charles called and wanted me to meet him in England to investigate a real life haunted castle, well need I say more? This kind of case is every Medium's dream and, if not, it was certainly on my bucket list. It was the first time that I'd ever been to England and I stayed one night in London before heading out to the countryside where Charles had his paranormal experience as a child. Being in London gave me the chills. I couldn't help but feel I had been there before. It was so familiar to me - like I was coming home. I felt as if I had lived there before and most likely I did in a previous lifetime. England was everything and more that has been depicted in the movies and on TV. From the rainy damp weather to the charming people who speak with an accent (my favorite accent of all is British), to the hackney taxi cab that drove me to the infamous castle. It wasn't long before my dream became a reality. When I drove up to the castle, I was speechless. More importantly, I couldn't believe all of the psychic impressions and feelings that were flooding my body. I actually felt as if I was watching a 3D movie in my mind featuring characters that once lived in the castle many years ago. I didn't know where to begin but I kept watching the movie and tried and make sense of it all. Behind every corner was another piece of the puzzle that would make sense of Charles' experience, and expose the wrong doings of men connected to the castle back in the day. But, I was pleased to learn that once again, where there was darkness, the light was always shining. In this case, that light was the Priest who stayed with the castle for a long time and tried to neutralize the space by helping the angry ghost move into a place of LOVE. Unfortunately, one of the best moments in this episode did not make it into the final cut. I always purchase a gift beforehand and of course I never know going into this what is going to happen, let alone what type of gift to buy. I always leave that part up to my Spirit Guides who always have my back and seem to know things before I do. This time was especially meaningful regarding the pendent I gave him at the end of the day. Talk about a play on words. During our discussion to wrap up the day, Charles says to me "I feel as if we have untied a knot today". To me this was the clincher. I was inspired to buy Charles a pendant to wear around his neck. I was extremely drawn to it and low and behold the pendant is called a Knot Work. I had Charles read the paper card that came with the pendant explaining what it is used for. The card read: “A Knot Work represents a continuity of life with no beginning and no end. A journey to one's spiritual center and inner quest for spiritual rebirth.” That is exactly what unfolded on this day as Charles helped bring closure to the angry male spirit. What I did not expect came from Charles himself. He is the most gentle, kind soul with a compassionate heart. But, that isn’t the part I didn’t expect. As you all witnessed, I was amazed by his loving approach to coax the angry spirit to move forward. I must say, I couldn't have done a better job with that myself. This journey's discovery came full circle. That is, it went from FEAR TO LOVE instantly. I guess we will never know what is truly going on behind closed walls of castles, or other structures. I believe one must expose and reveal the truth before any type of healing can take place. Having to admit these truths allows for anyone (whether it be people in the physical world or the spirit world) to finally heal and move forward. That being said, I am forever grateful that I, along with Charles, had a hand in revealing the truth of this story and two souls can finally rest in peace eternally.
