Spirit Guides Vs. Angels (What is The Difference?)

Welcome to my Blog. Many of you have written to me with the same inquiry and that is “are Angels & Spirit Guides the same”? “If not, what is the difference”? People often confuse the roles of Spirit Guides (SG) and Angels. I would like to give you some information regarding the two very different beings and explain to you what they have in common. Angels - Angels are celestial spiritual beings superior to humans in power and intelligence. These beings are made up of pure light of the God force and were created by God to serve as his helpers to humanity, as well as to help serve the heavenly realm. Angels never had a human incarnation, but can come to this earth in human form for a temporary assignment, if need be. Their mission is usually important in nature and they appear in times to help with human crisis, or emergencies. Most of the time, an Angel’s role is to help intervene when a person comes close to death or danger and it is NOT the time for that person’s soul to leave the earth. There are different categories of Angels such as seraphim, cherubim, virtues, principalities, archangels, angels, etc. Satan himself was known to be a fallen Angel from the Heavenly realm. There are many physical descriptions of Angels that have been reported. Many have described what they had thought to be an Angel as being really tall with golden hair, masculine in nature, having wings and a halo around its head and very often have been known to appear wearing a white robe. Sometimes, depending on the color of the sash or belt that is worn around their waist, have been thought to categorize the special order of authority that each Angel possesses. Others have described them as appearing as a silhouette of white light, with an outline of having wings and sometimes they have even been described as looking crystal like with a beauty and light shining through their eyes. In many religions, Angels are not to be worshipped, but instead can/and like to be called upon through prayer & meditation to aid or to help carry out special requests for the highest good of all concerned. When a person leaves his physical body here on earth, there is always an Angel of light waiting to usher them through the threshold to reunite with their loved ones who have gone on before them. Most times the person will opt to, or are drawn to the love that emanates from this special Angel, encouraging them to make their transition between worlds, basking them in a cocoon filled with Love & Light. Spirit Guides- Spirit Guides (SG) – Spirit Guides are human souls, or regular people that have lived on the earth at one time and have crossed over into the light. The biggest misconception is that most people assume that their SG is their family members who have gone on before them. Most likely, and in mostcases, they ARE NOT your family members; i.e., your great grandparents, parents, aunts or uncles. Have you ever heard the expression “another Angel has earned it’s wings”? Many times this is where people get confused. Angels don’t need to earn wings, but SG’s do. Although SG’s don’t have wings (because humans don’t have wings) earning their wings is symbolic and refers to doing something good in order to help another. A SG will be on the other side of the veil contemplating how they will elevate their own vibration, or in laymen’s terms, graduate to the next level. Most of the times, by helping you master your soul’s destiny, your SG will elevate to a higher plateau of his or her own existence. Many people wonder how they acquire a SG. Let me explain. First, everybody has ONE MASTER guide who joins him or her on their life’s journey from the time of their birth and leaves with them when their soul decides to leave this earth. This one MASTER guide has known you prior to you both coming into this world. In fact, you most likely helped pick your own SG prior to entering your mother’s womb. Yes, you heard that right. How can a guide help guide anyone? The answer is, depending on what lessons your own soul needs to learn; or whatever the reason for your incarnation this time around, you will have to have a guide who has already lived on a similar life path, having to learn similar lessons while here on earth at one time. For example, if you are looking to learn how to play the piano, you will need a piano teacher to teach you, right? So it is the same with our guides. They can only guide you if they have already mastered a similar life to yours with similar lessons. Along with your Master Guide, you will receive many different guides to join you along your journeyduring your lifetime. I like to compare it to being in school. You wouldn’t have a kindergarten teacher teach a college course. Or, have a college professor teach first grade, right? Meaning, the quicker you learn your lessons (and don’t keep repeating the same mistakes) the quicker you can elevate to the next level on your life’s journey and of course you will attract a guide who is ready and willing to help you master the next level (or lesson). You can also call upon a special type of guide depending on the situation. There are Joy guides that can come in to lighten the mood of a crowd; there are Parking Guides who can save you a parking space for you when you most need it. There are Teaching Guides that can help you remember the answers for an up and coming test you may be taking. So on and so forth. There are different guides for different occasions. No matter who the guide, Spirit Guides are not allowed to intervene with your free will. Free will has been given to us at our birth and it supersedes any input from your guide(s). Picture your guidesstanding beside you at all times, hoping that you will make the right choice for your own path and cheering you on. They are always waiting to help you as long as it doesn’t interfere with the growth of your soul. They also want to be recognized by you and want you to ask them for help. Asking them gives them permission to GET INVOLVED. Please know that like earthly parents, SGs know what’s best for you. Your prayer or intention should always be to ask your guides to help guide and lead you to the best possible outcome for your own soul’s destiny. For example: let’s just say that you are asking your guide to bring you to your soul mate. At the same time, you ask your guide to help get you the job that you just applied for. What if your soul mate is on his or her way to you, but he or she exists at a different job other than the one you are asking your guide to help you get? See my point? So just ask to be led to or guided to your soul’s destiny with the best possible outcome for you and for the highest good of all concerned. Trust me, you came here with your own blueprint or plan for your life. Even if you don’t remember it, your guides DO !!!!! Your family members who have gone before you can also hear your pleas for help and get together with your guides to discuss what is the best course of action that can be taken in order to help without interfering with your FREE WILL or changing the outcome of the results of your choices. What do Angels & Spirit Guides have in common? They are both designated to help you during your incarnation. Angels are more apt to help when you make your transition out of this dimension into the next. Your SG’s work is done with you when you exit this life. Many people who have had near death experiences and have come back into their body, have reported being drawn through a tunnel with a bright light of love & warmth drawing them in, but also have reported knowing that a person or being was right beside them as they floated into a different dimension. That other Being is their Master Guide leaving with them as their mission for that life is now complete. Whether it be an Angel or a Spirit Guide. How comforting is it to know that WE ARE NEVER ALONE ON THIS JOURNEY WE CALL LIFE. Not even for one second.
